WHAT IS RESTYLANE®?
Restylane® is a non-animal-based fill that virtually eliminates any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reactions. Perlane®

Perlane® is similar to Restylane® in that it is a hyaluronic acid facial filler. The molecule is larger than the Restylane molecule and more suitable for injection into deeper facial wrinkles and facial depressions. It was FDA approved in May of 2007.

Perlane® is made from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (HASHA) gel. This means that Perlane® contains no animal products. Since hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin and other tissue, there is no need to have a skin test before using. The results of a Perlane® filler treatment tend to last six months to a year. This is much longer than the typical results of collagen injections, which may last only 3 months. It is commonly used for wrinkle correction, diminishing worry lines, smile line, crow's feet, marionette lines and smoker's lines.

Also it can be used for lip enhancement and reducing the severity of nasolabial folds. It can be used for chin augmentation, filling cheek depressions, redefining lip border and softening acne scars. These are just a few of the uses for Perlane®.
